Cake and Grief Counseling Available: Using Artificial Intel for Forensics Without Jeopardizing Humanity
DoD Cyber Crime Conference, 2012
Come learn how artificial intelligence, which is really just mathy stuff, can improve your work. This talk will address two problems. The first is grouping similar things together without human intervention, or clustering. The user ends up with piles of similar things, where 'similar' is user defined and 'things' can be programs, pictures, or anything else. The second problem we’ll address is determining whether or not a thing belongs in a user-defined category, also called classification. Is this program malicious? Is this picture child pornography? Get your computer to tell you! We’ll talk about how your spam detector works and how such technologies can be applied to your work.
